Description
Bringing fresh energy to traditional Celtic music, Jordan is an award-winning New Hampshire-based fiddler/singer who has been performing professionally for over two decades. He has toured nationally with bands in various genres, performed across Ireland, and released multiple recordings of Celtic music that can be heard on radio stations in Ireland and Scotland as well as around New England. He is also an Emmy®-nominated composer who has written soundtracks for audiobooks and television and appeared as a guest on over 75 albums. His lifelong passion for history helps bring to life the traditional music around which he built his career.
After producing a feature piece on Jordan, WMUR’s New Hampshire Chronicle commissioned him to compose and produce a new theme music package for their nightly show. Once the music was developed Jordan recruited an all-star team of musicians to record it, including the other two members of The Jordan TW Trio, Matthew Jensen and Chris Noyes. The new music debuted in the fall of 2018, along with a music video featuring the band, produced by WMUR. Both music and video received 2019 New England Emmy® nominations.
With various groups, he has opened for Irish music legends Tommy Makem and Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfetones, country superstars such as Willie Nelson and Charlie Daniels, and classic rockers Blues Traveler, The Marshall Tucker Band and Little Feat. He has toured nationally with the Adam Ezra Group (winner of five New England Music Awards including “Band of The Year”) and appeared as a guest musician with other nationally touring bands including The Mallett Brothers, Yarn, The Lost Trailers, Roots of Creation, Hot Day At The Zoo and Ishna.
Performance Details:
- This show takes place at our DERRY location.
- All ages are welcome at this performance.
- Doors open at 7:00pm. The performance begins at 8:00pm and includes an intermission. We recommend arriving at 7:00pm with your entire party if you have a strong preference for your seating location.
- This event has unassigned, open seating in theater style rows facing our platform stage in our Vineyard Ballroom.
- Tickets are electronic and will be emailed to you immediately upon purchase online. The name on the ticket does not need to match the name of the person attending, if you would like to give tickets as a gift.
