At LaBelle Winery, we’ve always believed that great wine isn’t about geography—it’s about philosophy. That’s why we’re launching Beyond the Bottle, a new educational blog series that explores the decisions behind every bottle of wine we make.
Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or just getting started, this series shares our perspective on what contributes to wine quality. Because with the right approach and a commitment to craftsmanship, world-class wine can be made anywhere – including right here in New Hampshire.
Why We’re Doing This:
LaBelle Winery co-owners Amy LaBelle and Cesar Arboleda believe that wine should be judged by how it’s made—not where it’s made. As Amy often puts it, “If a well-known French winemaker relocated to New Hampshire and brought their same winemaking process, the wine would be just as excellent.” It’s not about mystique. It’s about method.
With Beyond the Bottle, we’re inviting you behind the scenes to see how we approach winemaking—and why we believe process and integrity matter more than region or reputation.

Over the coming months, we’ll take you on a journey through core elements of wine production—with honesty, clarity, and the same attention to detail we bring to our own wines. The series will include:
