Amherst, New Hampshire — LaBelle Winery has partnered with Amy Sullivan, owner of Sullivan Framing & Fine Art Gallery in Bedford, New Hampshire, to manage LaBelle’s art galleries located at the winery’s Amherst and Portsmouth locations.

LaBelle partnered with Sarah Chaffee, owner of the former McGowan Fine Art Gallery in Concord, New Hampshire, from 2014 until the gallery closed in 2018.

Amy LaBelle, LaBelle Winery’s co-owner and winemaker, had been searching for a new partner to manage LaBelle Winery’s galleries since McGowan’s closure.

“Partnering with Amy Sullivan to manage our galleries was a natural choice for us,” LaBelle says. “Her attention to detail, artistic eye, relationships with and support for artists, as well as her ability to operate a thriving business, was just what we were looking for in a partner. We know she will curate and manage LaBelle’s art shows with the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence and diversity that our gallery patrons have come to expect.”

LaBelle and Sullivan opened their first art show at LaBelle Winery Amherst, titled “Wild at Heart,” in March, which featured recent works by Weare, New Hampshire, artist Rosemary G. Conroy. The show ran through June 9.

The Gallery at LaBelle Winery Amherst’s current show is titled “Rustic Impressionism.” The show features recent works by New Hampshire artist Cheryl Vratsenes. Vratsenes is best known for her paintings of landscapes, seascapes and wildlife. Her paintings are unpredictable and spontaneous yet aesthetically balanced. An artist reception and art talk with Vratsenes will be held on Sunday, August 11 at 11 a.m. at LaBelle Winery in Amherst.
