Theresa Tozier of Lydia’s House of Hope Named Second Recipient of the Luis Pedroso BELIEVE Award
Derry, New Hampshire – LaBelle Winery will present Theresa Tozier, founder and executive director of Lydia’s House of Hope, with the Luis Pedroso BELIEVE Award during the LaBelle in Bloom gala, celebrating the fifth anniversary of the winery’s Derry location, on June 6, 2026.
The award honors individuals who embody generosity, humility, mentorship and the belief that success is meant to be shared with others. Inspired by the life and legacy of entrepreneur and philanthropist Luis Pedroso, the award recognizes individuals whose work has created meaningful opportunity and lasting change.
Tozier is the second recipient of the award and the first person to be honored since its inaugural presentation to Luis Pedroso, in 2022, during LaBelle Winery’s tenth anniversary gala. The event will also serve as a fundraiser benefiting Lydia’s House of Hope.
“Theresa represents everything this award stands for,” said Amy LaBelle, co-owner and winemaker of LaBelle Winery. “She has dedicated her life to helping women and children rebuild their futures with dignity, structure, compassion and hope. She quietly changes lives every day without seeking recognition for herself. That spirit of giving, mentoring and believing in people is why we chose to honor her with the BELIEVE Award.”

About the Luis Pedroso BELIEVE Award
Pedroso, who passed away in April, was a longtime friend and mentor to LaBelle Winery’s co-owners Amy LaBelle and Cesar Arboleda. He was known for helping entrepreneurs, mentoring young professionals and creating opportunities for others without seeking public recognition. The Pedroso Vineyard at the winery’s Amherst location was named in his honor.
“Luis believed deeply in helping people find opportunity and direction in life,” said Cesar Arboleda, co-owner of LaBelle Winery. “When we thought about who truly reflects those same values today, Theresa immediately came to mind. The impact she has had on the lives of women and children throughout New Hampshire is extraordinary. She has devoted decades to lifting others up during the most difficult moments of their lives.”
The Luis Pedroso BELIEVE Award will continue to be presented periodically at select LaBelle Winery events. To learn more about the award visit: https://labellewinery.com/about/the-luis-pedroso-believe-award
