This bold, dry red wine expresses strong floral and fruit tones with a deep tannin structure that leaves a velvety, lingering finish. Petit Verdot is typically a blending grape used in Bordeaux-style wines, but the grapes were so gorgeous that Winemaker Amy LaBelle couldn’t bear to blend them with others.
LaBelle Petit Verdot pairs perfectly with grilled beef, and is also surprisingly good with dark chocolate! Serve just below room temperature. May be cellared up to 10 years.
